- 1 pound ground chicken
- ⅓ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined (don't overmix).
With slightly wet hands, form the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs (about 16-18 meatballs).
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the meatballs in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between each (you may need to cook in batches).
Spray the tops of the meatballs lightly with olive oil spray.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time, until the meatballs are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
🔹For extra flavor, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste or 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion to the mixture.
🔹Serve with marinara sauce, on pasta, in sandwiches, or with toothpicks as an appetizer.
🔹For a leaner option, use ground chicken breast. For more flavor, use ground chicken thigh."
